Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of locksmith services provided by 24/7 Key Clinic ("we," "our," or "us"), located at 207 E Lake St, Minneapolis, MN 55408. By requesting or receiving our services, you agree to these Terms in full.

1. Services Provided

24/7 Key Clinic provides mobile locksmith services including but not limited to: vehicle lockouts, residential lockouts, commercial lockouts, lock rekeying, lock changes, deadbolt installation, smart lock installation, car key cutting and programming, transponder key service, key fob replacement, ignition repair, and broken key extraction.

All services are performed by licensed and insured technicians. We reserve the right to decline any service request at our discretion.

2. Service Area

We serve Minneapolis, St Paul, and the greater Twin Cities metro area. Coverage for specific locations is subject to technician availability and travel distance. Call us to confirm coverage at your location before scheduling.

3. Pricing and Payment

Upfront quotes: We provide a price estimate over the phone before dispatching a technician. The final price is confirmed on-site before work begins. You are under no obligation to proceed if the on-site price differs from your expectation.

Service call fee: A service call fee may apply for dispatch. This fee covers travel to your location and is disclosed before dispatch.

Payment: Payment is due in full upon completion of service. We accept cash, major credit and debit cards, and other payment methods as indicated at the time of service. Prices are in U.S. dollars.

No hidden fees: The price quoted on-site is the price you pay. There are no hidden fees added after the job is complete.

4. Proof of Authorization

For security and legal reasons, we require customers to demonstrate authorized access to the property or vehicle before service is performed. This may include:

  • Government-issued photo ID matching the address or vehicle registration
  • Vehicle registration, title, or insurance card for automotive services
  • Lease agreement, utility bill, or other proof of residency for residential services
  • Authorization from a property manager or employer for commercial services

We reserve the right to refuse service if satisfactory proof of authorization cannot be provided. This policy exists to protect property owners and is strictly enforced.

5. Cancellation and No-Show Policy

You may cancel a scheduled appointment at any time before the technician is dispatched at no charge. Once a technician is en route to your location, a service call fee may apply if you cancel.

If you are not present at the service location when the technician arrives and cannot be reached within a reasonable time, the appointment may be considered a no-show and a service call fee may apply.

6. Limitation of Liability

We take care to perform all work without causing damage to your property. However, locksmith services inherently carry some risk of incidental damage, particularly in emergency lockout situations where non-destructive entry is not possible.

Our liability is limited to the cost of the service performed. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the performance of services, including but not limited to: pre-existing damage to locks or door hardware, vehicle damage not caused by our technicians, costs of replacement parts sourced by the customer, or delays caused by factors outside our control.

Any claim must be reported to us in writing within 7 days of the service date.

7. Warranty on Labor

We stand behind our work. If a service we performed fails due to a workmanship issue within 30 days, we will return and correct it at no additional charge. This warranty covers labor only and does not cover parts, locks, or hardware supplied by the customer or subject to manufacturer defects.

8. Third-Party Parts and Hardware

When we supply locks, keys, or other hardware as part of a service, we source quality parts appropriate for the job. However, we make no warranty on manufacturer-supplied parts beyond what the manufacturer provides. If you supply your own parts, we are not responsible for their quality, compatibility, or failure.

9. Website Use

The 24/7 Key Clinic website is provided for informational purposes. The content is believed to be accurate but is not guaranteed to be complete or current. Service availability, pricing, and hours are subject to change without notice. You may not use this website for any unlawful purpose or in any way that could damage or impair the website or interfere with other users.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Hennepin County, Minnesota.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by updating this page. The effective date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Your continued use of our services after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
